Many couples will argue that the most memorable and meaningful part of their wedding day was the ceremony! The party, clothing, venue, photographer, food, and guests are all important, but the purpose of your wedding is to celebrate your love and formally commit to a life together through your wedding ceremony. Nothing is more personal than your relationship - and its my job to ensure that you have the perfect wedding ceremony. Simple, authentic, engaging and fun! I can do simple, but I will NEVER do impersonal or boring! Our officiants will share your love story and guide you through a meaningful transformation into your new life as a married couple.

A Life-Cycle Celebrant® is professionally trained to create personalized and one-of-a-kind ceremonies that are not tied to a traditional wedding ceremony protocol or script.
Creating a custom and personalized ceremony takes time so I suggest booking your wedding officiant minimum 3 months in advance. Most couples marrying in high season (June - Aug) typically book 6-12 months in advance. Unlike other officiants and commissioners, I only book one wedding per day. This means I book-up early BUT we can guarantee peace of mind and ensure that you will receive our undivided attention and energy on your wedding day.
Many factors such as the complexity of the ceremony, size of the wedding party, and venue location impact price (it is not based on the number of guests who attend the wedding). There are several pricing packages available (Personalized Wedding, Simply Eloping, Vow Renewal and Destination Weddings) and a general price range within each. After a 30 minute, no-obligation consultation I will estimate a cost for you. A 50% deposit is required upon signing the agreement to secure you date and the balance due 2 weeks before your ceremony.
Our specialty is creating a custom ceremony that balances, celebrates and honours diverse couples with different cultures, religions and/or spiritual beliefs. Let's face it. Weddings can be complicated ... so let us help simplify the process and help you find a happy medium!
The easiest way to ensure that your international wedding is legal in Canada is to get married in Canada! Our destination wedding packages include the custom ceremony of your dreams at virtually any location plus a simple, legal service in BC either before or after.
No. Unlike your wedding planner or day of coordinator, I focus exclusively on your wedding ceremony. Basically I coordinate everything that happens from the time you walk down the aisle to when we pronounce you legally MARRIED! I manage the stage directions, rituals, scripts and flow to ensure your ceremony is meaningful, personalized and fun. I am an experienced event professionals who work with the vendors that you supply (eg for the sound system, DJ, musicians, photographer, venue rental, videographer, etc.) onsite to ensure good coordination and flow of the ceremony.

The couple is responsible for obtaining the wedding license at some time in the three months prior to your wedding date. Only one member of the couple is required to apply for a marriage licence, but he or she must apply in person, and show primary identification for both parties.
Examples of primary identification include:
The marriage licence issuer may accept a passport or driver’s licence in some circumstances.
A marriage licence costs $100, and is nonrefundable. However, if you lose your licence, you can return to the place where you bought it, and ask for a replacement. It is valid for 3 months.
You can search for a marriage license issuer in your area on the Provincial Government website, but many couples obtain their license from their Local London Drugs store.
The couple fills in the form and provides 2 witnesses for the wedding ceremony. No one should sign the license until the wedding ceremony or it will not be valid. The officiant mails in the fully completed license within 48 hours of the wedding ceremony and the couple receives a wedding certificate at a later date once the marriage is registered with Vital Statistics Canada.
